Alfredo J. Ravinet, Ph.D., is the CEO and Principal Estimator of Engineering and Estimating Consultants LLC (EEC), a principal-led construction estimating and cost-consulting firm that has been serving clients for nine years. He brings more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, construction estimating, construction, project management, cost control, procurement, scheduling, and value engineering.

 

Throughout his career, he has worked on residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, public-works, and land-development projects. His professional background includes fiscal responsibility for approximately $92.3 million in South Florida construction and development work, as well as the management of 19 grant-funded projects for Florida International University.

He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental and Urban Systems from Florida International University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Chile. He also served as a professor of construction management, and building prepare and mitigation of Hazardous Events at Florida International University and Everglades University, where he shares his practical industry knowledge with future construction professionals.
